About This OSIRIS Guide
Created October 29, 2026
This site, osiris-ai.online, is a small independent guide to OSIRIS — the Open Source Intelligence & Reconnaissance Integrated System, a free and open-source dashboard that draws live public data on a 3D globe.
When OSIRIS spread across GitHub and social media in October 2026, most of the coverage was hype. People called it an AI that can see everything, or a free copy of Palantir. Neither is quite true, and anyone opening the tool for the first time deserved a plain explanation of what it actually does: which feeds it shows, what the RECON tools are for, where the data comes from, and where its limits are.
That is what we publish here. Plain guides to the live map layers, honest notes on the recon tools, and answers to the questions new users ask — like whether you need to install anything (you do not), whether it costs money (it does not), and which OSIRIS is which, since at least three other projects share the name.
We are not the developers of OSIRIS. We do not run the dashboard, the live demo, or the GitHub repository, and nothing published here is official. If you want the project itself, go straight to the source: the repository at github.com/simplifaisoul/osiris and the live demo at osirisai.live. Our access page links to both.
Everything on this site is written from public sources — the project's own repository and documentation, its live demo, and reputable coverage of its launch — and we check details against the live tool where we can. Open-source projects move fast, so if you spot something out of date, tell us through the community discussions on this site and we will fix it.
Thanks for reading. The best way to understand OSIRIS is to open the globe while a story is breaking and watch the feeds move. Our guides are here for when you want the slower explanation.
